Yes, CIET provides better placements than the Himachal Pradesh University, Chitkara. Compared to Chitkara University in Himachal Pradesh, CIET offers greater compensation packages, although both universities have an 80% success rate in placement. This is not to say that Chitkara University in Himachal Pradesh is an inferior college in fact, it is a similarly good university that provides students with competitive pay packages. Certain branches have outperformed other CIET branches in their placement reports.

It is also accredited by NAAC with A grade.Courses and Specializations: Chitkara College of Applied Engineering offers B Tech in CSE, ECE, ME, Mechatronics, Electrical, and Civil Engineering at its Punjab campus, and B Tech in CSE, CE, and ECE at its Himachal Pradesh campus. It also offers integrated B Tech-MBA and B Tech-M Tech programs in collaboration with industry partners.
