The three year B.Com (Honours) degree programme is divided into six semesters and is designed as per the Choice Based Credit System; model curriculum prescribed by UGC. It includes core papers, discipline specific electives, generic electives and skill enhancement courses. Discipline specific electives offered in the fifth and the sixth semesters are in the following streams: Finance & Investment and Banking & Insurance. Students are required to undertake a research work (research article or report) during the fifth and the sixth semesters. The detailed syllabus is as under. Semester-1 :- ADDITIONAL ENGLISH, FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING, BUSINESS LAW, BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT, BUSINESS ECONOMICS -I, ENGLISH, FRENCH, HINDI, KANNADA, SANSKRIT and TAMIL. Semester-2 :- ADDITIONAL ENGLISH, CORPORATE ACCOUNTING, CORPORATE LAWS, BUSINESS STATISTICS, BUSINESS ECONOMICS - II, ENGLISH, FRENCH, HINDI, KANNADA, SANSKRIT and TAMIL. Semester-3 :- CORPORATE ACCOUNTING, COMPUTER APPLICATIONS IN BUSINESS, COST ACCOUNTING, PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES OF MANAGEMENT, FINANCIAL SYSTEMS AND SERVICES, INTRODUCTION TO PUBLIC POLICY, GRAPHIC DESIGNING, BASICS OF LAW and NGO PROJECT. Semester-4 :- ENTREPRENEURSHIP, MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING, PRINCIPLES OF MARKETING MANAGEMENT, PRACTICES OF BANKING AND INSURANCE, AUDITING AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE, BUSINESS MATHEMATICS, STRESS MANAGEMENT, WEB DESIGNING, COMMUNICATION IN BUSINESS. Semester-5 :- RESEARCH METHODOLOGY, AUDITING AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE, TAXATION LAWS, RISK IN FINANCIAL SERVICES, PRINCIPLES OF INSURANCE, CONTEMPORARY TRENDS IN FINANCE, PRACTICES OF LIFE INSURANCE AND GENERAL INSURANCE, STRATEGIC FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, REGULATIONS OF INSURANCE BUSINESS and SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROJECT. Semester-6 :- BUSINESS ANALYTICS, ACCOUNTING STANDARDS AND FINANCIAL REPORTING, TAXATION LAW - II, INTERNATIONAL FINANCE, BANKING LAW AND PRACTICE, FINANCIAL SECURITIES AND DERIVATIVES, BANKING AND INSURANCE COMPANY ACCOUNTS, INVESTMENT ANALYSIS AND PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT, INTERNATIONAL BANKING and RESEARCH WORK.

Christ does not have a cut-off system. Their admissions end much before the CBSE results are announced. The only criteria are the entrance test and the personal interview.

Sorry but Christ accepts only September, December and February MAT(Conducted by AIMA) scores and that too it accepts 600 composite score.
