So, BA (Hons.) in journalism is a pioneer course in Christ and is currently running the second batch and is ready for the third one. For the entrance test, all you need is a fair idea of the current affairs and the general and basic history of the country and its media (newspaper, radio, TV; just basic). It isn't very tough. Once you clear it, you will have a personal interview with the senior faculty members from the university, which would be just a formal chit chat to get to know both the parties better.
The course as it is exclusive to journalism will teach you everything from the traditional forms of media that includes print to the new media that include the social media platforms. You will learn technical stuff like photography, videography, and editing.
The course plans are tweaked every year to make it better for the students but would soon stabilize after a few batches.
I hope I answered your question.
Cheers.

Let's give you a reality check and let you decide for yourself- Journalism Honors is a pioneer course and is currently running its second batch and is ready for the third one. The course plan is tweaked every year to make it better and enhance it for the students and impart them with a holistic form of education. So, they are still in the process of making it better. We, the first is lukewarm about the course as it has changed for the better but our time is limited here. Our juniors are comparatively happier and we also find their course plan better. So, learning form all the feedback that we give out and our performance patterns and other colleges as, Christ is trying to better its levels of education and keep up with the modern trends of the world to make the children practically ready for the world when they step out of the college. We have to do compulsory internships in our summer breaks, the mandate of which is designed keeping in mind the subjects taught and also what will be required for the next year- year one is with the media and communications department of an NGO and year two is with a news media organization/ agency (this is what has been for us, it might change, though less likely to).
Going by the campus size, the extra curricular activities are limited but the campus is still quite dynamic in extracurricular activities and is always buzzing with something or the other. The sports facilities are limited to only Badminton, Table Tennis and Football (external grounds) due to the crunch of space, but one can go to the main campus for availing the other sports facilities and tournaments fully (though that isn't very convenient either but if you're enthusiastic enough you will do it).
We've been in the main campus for a year and were disappointed when we came here, but Christ is known for maintaining its standards and facilities to the maximum everywhere in every situation for the comfort of the students.
So, I will leave you with this. Any further queries, I'm right here to answer that.
Cheers.
