In Central University of Himachal Pradesh the Total fees for MA which has total 14 different courses is about 4000 to 5400. And eligibility criteria is graduation with minimum 50% and entrance exam CUET- PG. Different courses such as MA in Political Science, Hindi, English Language and Literature, Economics, Sociology, History, Journalism, Punjabi, New media and Communication and many more such courses. MBA tuition fees is around 9600, BSC course fee is 14400, M.Sc Course is 9600, MA tuition fees is between 4000 to 5400 and BA ranges from 5900 to 6000.

I don't think that JEE entrance exam is necessary to join Central university of Himachal Pradesh. Either you have not appeared for JEE, you can join Central university of Himachal Pradesh by appearing in the Central university of Himachal Pradesh entrance exam named CUET-UG and CUET-PG. After appearing for the entrance exam, results are declared and then you can take admission. Depending upon the score you can join Central university of Himachal Pradesh. And you can also get admission through reserved categories like SC, ST, EWS, PWD, etc. 

Himachal Pradesh University maintains THIRTEEN Hostels - FOUR for boys and NINE for girls. These provide accommodations to approximately 972 girls and 567 boys students. The hostel administration has following levels: Chief Warden and Warden (s). All admissions in hostels are made in order of merit of the students as prepared/forwarded by the concerned department from various disciplines. However, all Rights of Admission to the University Hostels are reserved with the Chief Warden.All hostels have facilities of Mess, Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi and LAN, Common Room equipped with LED TV, current magazines, newspapers and Indoor games. A Dining aHall is maintained hegienicaaly HHall is maintained hygienically for boarders to enjoy their meals. Each hostel has a Warden and office staff who are responsible for its smooth functioning and to carry out routine activities. The Prefects will be appointed by the Hostel Warden amongst the senior boarders of good standing to assist him/her in the administration of the hostel. The Warden alongwith different Committees maintain discipline, academic and peaceful atmosphere in the hostel. Besides, all hostels are under CCTV surveillance 24x7.
