Direct admission to B.Tech at CUHP (Central University of Himachal Pradesh) is possible through management quota, but it can be quite expensive, and the college may demand significant donations for admission. Additionally, some private engineering colleges in India offer direct admission to B.Tech without an entrance exam, where the colleges themselves decide the seat slots and candidates can apply directly to the Principal/Director of the Institute, submitting the relevant documents. Therefore, while direct admission to B.Tech at CUHP is possible through management quota in some cases, it may involve high costs and donations.

The best course and most popular course offered are MSc, MBA, MA, BSc and around 45 courses are available in Central University of Himachal Pradesh. And total faculty available is 130+.So I would say, the quality of education is pretty good. Good and supportive staff (except a few, and that is the story of everywhere). The quality of education is superb and you would love the weather of the place. Almost all of my batchmates are settled, and a few of them are placed in renowned PSUs. If you want a good quality education at a minimal cost, the university is great for you. Although, to get more industrial experience, and to be more acquainted with practical aspects of your field, you would have to take the initiative and try yourself. The university recently got NAAC A+ accreditation.
