MIt Pune outperforms Dy Patil Akurdi in terms of placement, average package, and reputation.so Mit Pune is clearly the better option. Both universities are excellent for engineering students. It totally Depends on what stream you are planning to choose. Now coming to your question, as far as placement is concerned it totally depends on two main factors:Performance of Student in academicsDemand in IndustryYes it is true that reputation of College also plays a role in placement of a student. It helps in bringing top companies to the college. But if you have right skills and better hands-on then Placement into a good company is easy.MIT has good infra structure and also they have well setup labs. Students there are great and also you will find a well competitive environment. They Focus on all sectors equally. Whereas D.Y. Patil is also good in respect of academics. So I would suggest Try to focus on learning right skills and you will find yourself in a Good Company. Understand what you study and try to implement it. College is Just a medium. To sit into placements of Good Companies MIT would be better as compared to DY Patil

D.Y. Patil International University, Pune can be a decent option for a B.Tech. program, depending on your priorities. DYPIU emphasizes practical skills and industry exposure through internships and guest lectures from industry professionals. The university focuses on offering B.Tech programs in emerging fields alongside traditional engineering disciplines. This can be appealing if you're interested in cutting-edge areas. However, Compared to established institutes like IITs or NITs, DYPIU might have a less established reputation nationally. While DYPIU claims good placements, readily available and verified data on average placement packages or recruiters might be limited.

{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Success Rate of Placement Cell for B.E./B.Tech StudentsBased on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what emerges regarding the success rate of the placement cell for B.E./B.Tech students:* Placement numbers: While the exact figures are not mentioned, it seems that the placement cell does secure jobs for B.E./B.Tech students, although the number may not be very high. One student mentions that "only 20-30% of students got internships" in certain companies.* Company visits: It appears that companies rarely visit the college campus to recruit students from the final year. This might impact the placement numbers.* Quality of placement: However, those who do get placed seem to receive decent packages. According to one reviewer, the average salary package for BCA students is around INR5 LPA, while the highest package offered is around INR15 LPA.It's essential to note that the success rate of the placement cell seems to vary depending on individual efforts and performance. Some reviewers mention that getting a good salary package requires working hard, which is similar to what happens in most colleges.
