    Masters in pharmacy from DPSRU.
    Placements: As there are total 8 seats in pharmaceutics only few of those who opted for the course to be first preference get selected, but the rest get their second or third preference. As during placement student of every field (Masters in pharmacy and students of pharma MBA) are allowed to appear, the highest and the lowest salary changes every year. It can be from 14lpa to 5lpa. Sun pharma, Dr. Reddy, Elilily are the few well known recruiters. Roles offered in our course are majorly analyst. Internship become mandatory in Masters, so every single student gets an internship, some through discretion of their mentor get into DRDI also.
    Infrastructure: As DPSRU being the first pharmacy University in India, it have all the necessary equipments available. Also as it's increasing in the field so few new facilities has been added to the college this year. As for the hostel and mess, the quality is of normal standard. There is a gym in the hostel area available for students and teachers residing in quarters but as there is ongoing construction of metro station right in front of college GATE and some renovations in the college itself, many hostel facilities are inaccessible.
    Faculty: Teaching quality is good and every professor is a well known in his/ her field. Teachers are helpful until the very end but also it depends how well do you perform the assigned tasks. One who have qualified GPAT and getting a research stipend will have to justify it through his work in the field. Teachers are cooperative as well as strict. Teaching quality is really proficient and teachers tend to provide the best to their students. The curriculum is somewhat flexible and due to students own efforts they can get real exposure to the industry within the period of their course.

Classes are very interactive between teachers and students. Teachers always guide their students in every way to carry out their research projects. The course curriculum is decided by the Pharmacy Council of India. It is recently updated, so, now, it is more industry and practical based.
    Other: I chose this course because I like the subject of specialisation of this course. It also provides ample of opportunities in various fields like we can opt for higher studies, can apply for core pharmaceutical jobs, also various data research jobs or business analytics jobs, etc. Scholarships are also provided for this course for GPAT qualified students by AICTE. Annual function, farewell and various other events like pharmacy week, sports week, etc., are also organised in our college. But fest is not conducted in our college. Q:   Is it worth pursuing D.Pharma at DPSRU?

    A:
    {Source: D.Pharma students & alumni}

    Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

    * Placement Scenario: Unfortunately, most students reported that there are no or negligible on-campus placements for D.Pharma students. However, they encouraged students to explore off-campus opportunities, citing that the college's reputation and the image of DPSRU can lead to high chances of securing a job in a company or hospital.
    * Teaching Quality: Most reviewers praised the teaching staff, saying they are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Some mentioned that faculty members make students feel comfortable, while others noted that some may lack motivation or enthusiasm.
    * Infrastructure: While the overall infrastructure seems decent, some reviewers pointed out issues with hostel conditions, particularly regarding mess food and infrastructure. Others appreciated the availability of modern facilities, such as air-conditioned classrooms and Wi-Fi connectivity.
    * Course Curriculum: Some students felt that the current curriculum might not directly prepare students for industry demands, but internships (which are mandatory) helped bridge this gap.

    Considering these points, whether pursuing D.Pharma at DPSRU is worth it ultimately depends on individual goals and priorities. For those interested in pharmaceutical industries and willing to explore off-campus opportunities, DPSRU might still offer valuable learning experiences. However, prospective students should carefully weigh the pros and cons before making an informed decision.
