DU offers BTech, BSc, and BCom as its flagship courses. These courses are offered for a very less cost. The university is ranked for these courses. Students can expect good salaries after completing education in various streams such as Engineering, Commerce, and others. DU students are placed in top companies and top sectors such as Capgemini, Dell, Google, Indigo Airlines, Barclays, Ernst & Young, and others. BTech students can expect to get INR 8 LPA as entry level package. This is the median package according to the placements offered in 2022. 

Getting admission in DU with 45% is quite tough. Students with 45% in Class 12 can apply through quota or can apply under any reservation criteria. The other option is to opt for less popular course. DU University offers over 500 programs approved by various academic and executive councils, of which 209 have been considered for NAAC accreditation. DU also offers various PG courses to students, such as M.Com M.A. And M.Sc. Among others. Students can take admission to any PG course by appearing for CUET-PG Entrance Exam. From this year on, students will have to register for CUET-PG first and apply for CSAS counseling later for the final admission round after that. DU has changed the admission process for the academic year 2023-24.
