I am dissatisfied with faculty members, curriculum etc. Friends are the only support system.
Placements: Our college provides low placements. It has a wonderful natural environment but not the same in the case of studies. Involvement of politics in the education stream has lowered the standards of education, Introduction of courses has narrowed the education quality, and the knowledge is confined to these offered courses.
Infrastructure: Old hostels are great, but the new ones are just extended cubicles. Monkeys enter the hostel, and there are leaking ceilings, acoustic ceilings which raises a question on one's privacy. Overall a below-average experience. It's impossible to study in hostels. One may do anything except to study.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are mostly awful, except a few. Course curriculum in worthless since there are almost no placements and some subjects are just pointless and wastage of time. Teachers are more into political discussions. Students are acquainted with more of theoretical knowledge rather than practical part.
Other: I opted this course because I am from a horticulture background. I wanted to enhance my knowledge in this field regarding various techniques and production technologies available.

The college placements are average but better opportunities after PG courses.
Placements: The students of this course mainly focus on government jobs, but the post-graduation required only before professional jobs. The highest salary offered is Rs. 1,50,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Food and fruits related companies are top recruiting companies. Top roles offered are agricultural officer, horticultural officer, food inspector, etc. The internship offered is more like industrial training of 1 year to students.
Infrastructure: The college provided all proper facilities with proper equipment. There are appropriate classrooms available in the college, and there is a good playground in the college. The college has a good infrastructure. There is an average hostel. The food provided is average. There is a medical area in the college. The college provided good sports and games facilities. Overall the college is good for the mental and physical growth of students.
Faculty: All the professors here are PhD level of their field of command with proper research and development records. Teaching quality of teachers is good, but students have to study more by themselves. The course curriculum is not relevant, which is the reason PG courses are almost like compulsory to study only B.Sc., and it doesn't make students industry-ready.
Other: I choose this course because it is a different course. It gives knowledge of food and fruits around us and to grow them. The course should be more practical based. The college conducts many cultural, youth, festival, sports, etc. events throughout the semester.

The finest college for studies in Horticulture area.
Placements: Senior batch got placed in different companies like pepsi foods, century SEED company. Placement % is about 40-50%. Students were offered 4lac per annum salary during the year 2015. Pepsi food and century SEED companies visited the campus. There is no such need of internship in our courses.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi, well furnished labs, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports, and games all are available in the campus. Almost all useful books are available in the library. Food in the Canteen is quite good. Hostel rooms are okay. Not yet faced any infrastructure issues.
Faculty: Teachers were commendable. Teaching quality is best, board teaching, projector teaching methods are used. 10students : 5 teachers. The course curriculum was useful indeed. All the teachers have done Ph.D. in their respective subjects. Industry exposure is also there.
Other: Events and functions keep going on during different occasions every year. Scholarship is also there to meritorious students.

Satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: There are no placements for UG students. The students have to apply on their own in private companies. Placements are only for students doing masters in agribusiness and doctorate. An average package of about 3-5 lakhs is offered.
Infrastructure: The college has a proper Wi-Fi facility. Labs with proper modern equipment is present in each department. The library has new edition books, magazines, and research papers. A health center is present itself inside the college campus. Both indoor and outdoor games facility is available e.g. badminton, football, table tennis, etc. Hostel rooms are hygienic with good food facility.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching method is usually through powerpoint presentation or through field visits. E-courses are also available. Industry exposure is mostly in the last year through experience learning program. A stipend of Rs. 2000 rupees is given to M. Sc. students and Rs. 5000 for Ph.D. students.

All the teachers are well qualified and a great campus to pursue this course.
Placements: As we have completed our B.Sc, now we are heading towards M.Sc. Almost all my batchmates are currently pursuing M.Sc and MBA in top class colleges of India. Talking about our seniors, all have gotten projects and many of them are working with top class MNCs and getting top class packages.
Infrastructure: Great infrastructure with 2-3 labs per department and almost 16 departments in total. Whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled and a dedicated computer lab with all the e-magazines. Having top class largest library of HP of almost 3 storey building and thousands of books with 5 different sections.
Faculty: PhD is offered here in different fields such as vegetable, fruits, floriculture, SEED, science, pathology, entomology, food technology. MBA can also be done from here.
