With a JEE Main rank of 883625 and a SC category rank of 74864, it is unlikely that you would secure admission to B.Tech Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Delhi Technological University (DTU). DTU is a highly competitive institute with admission primarily based on merit ranks that are significantly lower than your current rank. Generally, admission to CSE at DTU requires a much higher rank due to the popularity and demand for the course. Also, you may still explore other engineering colleges where admission criteria are more flexible or where there are reserved seats for SC category students. Consider researching and applying to colleges where your rank aligns more closely with their admission requirements. Additionally, explore counselling sessions and other entrance exams that might offer alternative pathways to pursue your engineering aspiration.

India's two most esteemed engineering institutes are Delhi Technological University (DTU) and National School of Engineering (NSUT). As to the web material, a candidate's JEE Mains general category rank must be less than 10,000 in order to be admitted and guaranteed a seat at DTU. In other words, your JEE Mains score needs to be at least higher than the 99.2 percentile. Your percentile for the top branches of NSUT should be 98+. The percentage, however, changes based on the courses selected. In 2023, the closing rank for the NSUT East Campus B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (IOT) was 9676, and the closing rank for the B.Tech.

Based on each applicant's JEE Main performance, DTU determines its cut-off ranks. It's crucial to review the DTU cut-off ranks from the prior year in order to assess your possibilities. Depending on the branch they are looking for, candidates who place in the top 10,000 to 15,000 (roughly) generally have a chance of being admitted to DTU.Cutoffs may differ according to groups like General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and so on. Even if the cutoffs may be lower if you fall into a reserved group, the 20th percentile is still very low.You could want to look into alternative engineering colleges where you match the cut-off requirements if your JEE Main percentile is about 20%. Many reputable engineering schools in India take into account JEE Main scores for admissions.

It is quite unlikely that someone who scored a 1,000,000 in the JEE Main will be admitted to Delhi Technological University (DTU), particularly if they are not from Delhi. There is fierce rivalry for admission to DTU, one of the best engineering schools in India. Generally, DTU admissions cutoff ranks are substantially lower. The cutoff ranks for general category students typically fall between the thousands and lower ten thousand, contingent upon the engineering discipline and category (general, OBC, SC, ST, etc.). Students who live in Delhi have a sizable reservation at DTU. The cutoff ranks are higher and the competition is significantly more intense for non-residents.

It is difficult to definitively say whether you can get into DTU or NSIT (NSUT) with a 60 percentile in JEE Mains (assuming you are referring to the General-EWS category) because the cutoff ranks fluctuate every year. Generally Competitive: Getting admitted to DTU and NSIT, especially for the most sought-after branches like Computer Science Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering, is competitive with a 60 percentile in the General-EWS category. Factors Affecting Cutoffs: The cut-off ranks depend on several factors including:Number of applicantsDifficulty level of the JEE Mains exam that yearAvailability of seats in each branchPossible but Uncertain: There's a chance you might get a seat, but it's uncertain. It depends on how the factors mentioned above play out in 2024.

With an OBC rank of 64,000 and a Common Rank List (CRL) rank of 190,576, it is highly unlikely that you will get admission to Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) or Delhi Technological University (DTU).The cutoff ranks for NSUT and DTU are generally much lower than your rank. For example, the last year's closing rank for DTU was around 10,000 for the Computer Science branch. Similarly, the cutoff rank for NSUT is usually below 20,000. However, you may have a chance to get admission in the spot rounds if there are any vacant seats available after the first round of counseling. But this is not guaranteed and depends on various factors such as the number of vacant seats and the preferences of other candidates. In summary, with your rank, it is unlikely that you will get admission to NSUT or DTU in the regular rounds.Netaji Subhas University of Technology, formerly Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology is a state university located in Dwarka, Delhi.Delhi Technological University, formerly Delhi College of Engineering is a state university in Rohini, Delhi, India.

Nine years before the first IIT was founded at Kharagpur in 1950, Delhi Technological University (DTU), originally known as Delhi College of Engineering, was founded in 1941. IITs promote a set of universities with an NAAC ranking of "A" or higher. Additionally, DTU is ranked 'A' by the NAAC. Both colleges offer their students a wide range of UG and PG courses along with fantastic placement chances. The top package available at DTU for the 2021–2022 academic year was INR 1.8 CPA, whereas the highest packages at IIT consistently surpass INR 1 CPA. It is safe to conclude that DTU and IITs are equivalent when comparing all of these factors.

DTU excels in fundamental subjects like Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil; in software branches like COE/IT and even ECE. With its 160-acre exquisitely built campus and first-rate facilities, DTU has the best infrastructure by far. While NSIT has IT labs for ECE students, DTU's campus amenities are superior overall. Given its long history, DTU Mechanical Engineering is a great option. The department is excellent in all areas, including buildings, professors, infrastructure, labs, placements, and reputation. In terms of curriculum and placements, the branch is easily comparable to the ME branches of BITS and IITs. So, DTU is better
