The Delhi School of Management, DTU, seems to have a strong placement record, with companies like Unilever, GSK, Kotak, and all Big 4 firms recruiting from the college The average salary package offered in the MBA programme ranges from 6 LPA to 8.5 LPA, while the highest package reported goes up to 43 LPA .A considerable percentage of students (up to 70%) have been placed, with top recruiters including Nestle, Bajaj Finance, HDFC, etc., offering packages of around 10 to 12 LPAs.Based on these Data, in my opinion Delhi School of Management, DTU, is a good choice for pursuing an MBA, particularly for those looking at placement opportunities and a decent campus life.

For top branches in DTU your JEE Mains rank must be under 2800 rank, or you can say more than 99.8 percentile score. However, since you mentioned that you belong to the SC category, there is a relaxation of 10% of marks for SC/ST category candidates. So, you might get admission into DTU with 75 percentile in JEE Mains under the SC category. But please note that this is just an estimate and the actual cutoffs may vary every year depending on various factors such as rank secured in the JEE Main examination, availability of seats, choice filling, reservation criteria, and more. I hope this helps!

No, candidates cannot get admission to DTU without appearing for JEE Main as the DTU BTech counselling is done through JAC Delhi. The basic criteria for admission to BTech is appearing for JEE Mains. To get into DTU, candidates must score decent marks or at least around 220 or above marks in JEE Mains. The only way to get into DTU without appearing for JEE Main is by taking a lateral entry admission to BTech second year. In order to do this, candidates must complete a Polytechnic course of two years and then appear for an entrance exam (not JEE Main but this exam will give you entry in DTU's second year).

To more precisely check your possibilities, it is advisable to review the cutoff ranks for these branches at these universities, as admission requirements can change year. But DTU cutoff rank may be higher because of the popularity of the branches

Over the years, DTU has performed better than many colleges in terms of placements. As per Shiksha verified review the university is rated 4.3/5 in Value for Money. The ROI per person has not declined till now. Hence, getting admission to this college has more perks than disadvantages. Outstation or not, the placements are completely based on the student's skills. Hence increase in competition has no much significant impact on the opportunities the university creates for students.
