Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. Qualifying the Eligibility criteria you can join the programme. Stream matters more than college, go for what you feel is interesting to you. Still if you go to DTU, in case you get upgradation later on after first year, that will be best but that's quite risky. So my suggestion is to go for NIT, Kurukshetra.

It is a good branch. It has some of syllabus of mechanics also. But, I will consider you, if you are getting (MCE) branch I. e mathematics and computing, then go for it, because in DTU, there are better placement opportunities. But, PAI is also a very good branch. If you are interested, then go for it.
