Online MBA experience at FLAME University.
Placements: The placement process at FLAME brings in a lot many opportunities for the students. Many top organizations like Finolex, Wipro, BirlaSoft, Mercedes, PurePlay Skin Sciences were among the top recruiters from last year. Despite the pandemic, the committee and the faculty put in all possible efforts to help students with the placements in their desired roles and companies. Even for the internships, many companies like Jio Creative labs, NeedleI, Outlook, Kalpatru recruited students for various profiles ranging from marketing to sales to finance and even client servicing. It was great exposure for everyone.
Infrastructure: One of the reasons I took admission in FLAME over the other colleges was because of its infrastructure. It is a truly well-built college with all possible campus amenities for the staff and students as well. The library, the sports complex, the hostel, these are some things that I'm eagerly waiting to SEE. Due to the pandemic, things have been online for over a year but I'm sure it will be worth it once the campus starts offline.
Faculty: The faculty at FLAME and especially at the communications management programme make sure that they interact with each and every student. The Communications batch is a small group of motivated students and thus it provides us a very personal level connection with the professors. They have always been a call away for any sort of academic or personal issue. Many of them are industry experts with a lot of field experience. The exams at FLAME are not always in the test format. They consist of class performance, presentations, quizzes, assignments, and exams. Overall, there are ample opportunities for students to score well.
Other: FLAME offered me a 100% academic scholarship, which included only paying the amount for hostel and mess fee. The ROI was pretty solid. The only condition was that I had to maintain a GPA of 7.5 per term. This was a motivating factor for me and it made me score really well overall. Apart from this, FLAME offers a liberal curriculum which is one of its kind in the country. It constantly organizes workshops and seminars for the students and also offers subjects like French, German, Spanish, Dance, Drama, Music, etc. For the holistic development of students.

The virtual life is exciting in this college.
Placements: Our college has good companies for internships such as Reliance, Aditya Birla Group, Outlook Group, Jio Creative Labs, and others. The placement cell also arranged webinars to guide students on how to be the best version of themselves during the whole internship process. Even though it's online, the placement committee took every little effort to help the students.
Infrastructure: It is famous for its infrastructure. The campus is very beautiful. It is smartly designed. Because of the covid situation, students are unable to enjoy.
Faculty: I opt for this course because of my interest. Second-year students can choose their specialisation in minor and major options. The faculty here are from leading b-schools and universities, and they are extremely knowledgeable and have the best skills to conduct classes in the most interactive way.

FLAME University is perfect.
Placements: Placements provided by our university are top-notch, in spite of the ongoing pandemic. Organisations that are a part of the placement process are at the top in their respective industries. The main focus is to mould the students as industry-ready professionals. I have improved my communication skills and presentation skills, which shaped me into a competitive individual ready to progress in my professional life ahead. Companies like Finolex and Wipro recruited students in the final placements. Organisations like Birla Soft, Outlook Group, CBRE South Asia, etc., recruited students for summer internships.
Infrastructure: Due to the ongoing pandemic, the current mode of studying is online. Since we could not be on campus, a virtual tour was arranged for all of us to get to know the campus. The university has one of the biggest libraries, and it is stocked with books from various fields. Sports centres, auditoriums and lecture halls are one of a kind.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are the best in their areas as they are from the best universities. They are knowledgeable in their subject areas and very approachable. If students do not understand a concept, they simplify it to the core and take a different approach in explaining the concept. Based on our choice of majors and minors, we have a plethora of subjects to choose from. Courses are very in-depth and have theoretical as well as practical elements. The evaluation is wholesome, which includes class participation, case analysis, assignments and final submissions.
Other: I have chosen this course because communications have always attracted me, and I wanted to specialise in digital marketing. I could not find proper courses anywhere except at FLAME. I have chosen this specialisation and course, which makes it a perfect fit for me. The crowd at FLAME is very passionate about their fields of interest and are seeking more than just academics. Liberal courses like psychology, sociology and foreign languages like Spanish, etc., help in our overall development beyond academia. Guest lectures, cultural activities and similar events have connected us well with the juniors and seniors.

MBA in Communications Management - Batch of 2017

Good infrastructure, facilities and amazing faculty. Good learning.
Placements: Placements are something Flame is lacking. They have a placement team. It's not a student driven cell. Mostly companies related to marketing come on campus. The average salary offered is 5.5lakh. CCD, Dmart, Kotak Securities, Viacom18, Syntel, Texet Technologies, Yes Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Duniya Finance and ASAHI Glass were companies on campus for the year 2015-2017 batch. 80 percent of the total batch got their placements from the college. Since a new member has joined the team, we can expect good changes. Mostly 90 percent of students get internships from the college. Different companies like Reliance Jio, Mercedes, Motilal Oswal, Decathlon, Bookmyshow and Syntel were on campus. Mostly they don’t provide stipend but on an average, the stipend offered is 10 thousand per month.
Infrastructure: Flame has an amazing infrastructure. The buildings on campus are named after famous personalities (Chanakya, Kalidas, Tagore, Kabir and Raman etc.) The valley is beautiful. When it comes to classrooms there are different classroom depending upon the class size. Chanakya is the big classroom of a capacity of 150 students. Classrooms are well equipped with audio-visual devices. There is a sculpture and painting studio where the classes are conducted. Vivekananda Library is huge with discussion room on the top floor. The newsroom has all the required business-related newspaper. Flame investment lab is also on the ground floor which is basically for finance students. Sports and games facilities on campus are on point, with different grounds for football and cricket, volleyball court and a multipurpose hall for snooker, table tennis and badminton. There is 24hrs WIFI service on campus. Medical facilities and an ambulance are there 24*7. They have an in-house doctor who is available at any given point. For any major ailments, they have tied up with other big hospitals in the city. There are bus services for students to go to the city. Students are given 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and high tea. The food quality is okay. There are 3 cafes (FLAME Café, Times Café and Juice Press) and CCD on campus. It’s a vegetarian only campus. There is one essential store on the campus for the everyday requirements. Hostel rooms are spacious and decent enough with WIFI.The cleaning staff comes every day and the housekeeping facilities are nice. The people are very helpful. There are 2 amphitheatres with a beautiful view. The in time for all the students is 12.30 (that’s the time everyone is required to go back to the hostel). In time to come back to the campus is 12 am.
Faculty: Flame has an amazing staff when it comes to teaching. They are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. With so much experience. They give you all on field experience. With different student-driven activities on campus. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it makes one get a hang of everything. For example, communication students who have taken admission in FSC (Flame school of Communications) learn everything about advertising and branding. Starting with basic to a professional level. There are many presentations that a student has to make. Regular evaluation as it is a term system becomes useful. Many visiting faculty members come to teach. Many guest speakers from industry come and give all the industry insights. Digital marketing students have an opportunity to work on live clients. They can participate in GOMC (Google online marketing challenge) and different college competitions. Communications students are required to do a graduation project in their 2nd year. They can make a graduation film or do any research project under a mentor.
