It's a good choice as it is a government college and surroundings are comfortable.
Placements: About 50% of students are placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 15 LPA. Google, Oracle, Microsoft, etc., recruit students. In GBU, many courses to pursue. But students have to involve themselves and perform well get placed in good companies with a good package.
Infrastructure: In GBU, there are 12 boys hostels and 7 girls hostels. Facilities provided in each room include an almirah, chair, table, and one bed. Each student gets their single room for stay. Every room has a full LAN connection. The mess provides average food quality.
Faculty: In GBU, teachers are helpful, the quality of studies is average, and student coordination is good. Every six months, there is a semester, and every three months, there is a mid-term. Semester papers are at an average level of 25, 8 marks are required to pass the mid-term, while 40 out of 60 are required to pass the end term.
Other: My course is B.Tech IT. I love this course and am comfortable with it. Come and join to enjoy college life. Every year, there are events, fests, etc.

GBU (infrastructure and facilities).
Placements: Almost 90% of students from the passed-out batch secured placements. The highest package offered was 51 LPA, while the lowest was 3.5 LPA. The average package ranged between 6-7 LPA. Top recruiters included companies like Google, Microsoft, Grow, TCS, and Wipro. Additionally, around 80% of students secured internships in companies such as Indian Oil, Grow, and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-maintained and equipped with internet facilities via Wi-Fi and LAN. The college has a large central library and well-furnished labs. Hostel facilities are excellent, offering single-seater rooms and good quality food in the mess and canteen. A dispensary provides free medical services, and sports facilities are top-notch, with an annual sports meet being organized regularly.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, assisting students with all their academic and personal challenges. The quality of teaching is excellent, ensuring that students understand the concepts clearly. The course curriculum is relevant and helps students become industry-ready. Semester exams are manageable, and the pass percentage is over 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I aspire to become a software engineer, and the course is well-structured and effectively taught here. While placements are good, there is scope for further improvement. The college organizes events and fests annually. Students with a UP domicile can apply for scholarships through the state’s program.

Faculty members are a major issue here but the infrastructure is the best .
Placements: The placements here are not good honestly. Although I came with a lot of hope but the college placements were a disappointment. They had shown a good number of placement records on their website but the on-campus placements are not that good in reality. The off-campus placements were really good as we touched 51 Lacs as the highest off-campus placement. The average package offered on campus is 3-4 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the best thing about this college. The infrastructure can really compete with IITs and other top notch colleges. The library and other facilities are also very good. Hostels are really good here as they have single seater rooms which gives you the required privacy for studies and other things.
Faculty: The fees is a little bit more compared to the other government colleges and universities. The curriculum and exams are moderate. Faculty and management is not that good, most of them are guest faculty members which is a major issue. A lot of the management and faculty members are locals which makes it difficult for the other staff to work with them.
Other: The college’s crowd and it’s campus life is not that good as the crowd is mostly local and diverse which makes it difficult for the outsiders to fit in. It will take time to adjust here, it took me 2 years to fit in. I am currently in my 2nd year of college.

Not satisfied with the behavior of the guards.
Placements: Around 50 percent got the placement. The maximum package is 51 lakhs, while the minimum is 2 lakhs. Infosys, Microsoft, and Wipro are the recruiting companies. 90 percent of students get internships. Top roles like SDE in Tech Mahindra and software engineer in Microsoft are offered.
Infrastructure: For internet, we get Lan, which is Ethernet. The library is big and great. Food is good; if any student gets sick, then we call the ambulance and take him/her to the hospital; there are courts in the hostel and outside the hostel too. And if there's any problem in the room, we make a complaint.
Faculty: Faculty is good; they teach us in a good manner and give us time for our doubts. They go through the syllabus and do complete it on time and then revision too. Semester exams are not so difficult, good for knowledge, and easy to crack. You just have to study hard.
Other: Well, there's a lot of scope in my course. Well, I wish students and faculty got more interested in skills rather than exams. Glitch Fest is the tech fest famous at our college. And we do have clubs for dance, i.e., trx and nrityangna. So yes, extra curricular is good here.

Gbu is a good university. There are many events, hackathons, and programs in GBU.
Placements: In GBU, the required minimum CGPA is 6 for placement, and there are several companies recruiting. GBU is best for the B.Tech course. The highest package is GBU 2024 50 LPA (off-campus). The average package is 10 LPA and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Last year, the highest package was 48 LPA.
Infrastructure: The GBU infrastructure is amazing. The GBU-covered area is 511 acres. The GBU campus has a meditation center, a swimming pool, gym, complex, library, etc. In the GBU 18 hostel, there are 12 boys and 6 girls. In all hostels, the internet is free for students. Best for students: affordable fees for students.
Faculty: Gbu teachers are good; they are knowledgeable, qualified and experienced. There is no difficulty in the GBU semester exams and also entrance exams. Minimum CGPA required for clearing the exam: 4 CGPA in a year. You chose a 4-year B.Tech. course. And you are in your 1st year; you required a minimum 4 CGPA to go to the 2nd year of our B.Tech.
