Hello,
Foreign Language: It has its own aura and fascination. It evokes awe. But for those into this, it's hard grind. Particularly the talking practice, listening practice are quite tough. Of course these days U-tube helps in polishing these skills but then nothing can compare live practice. It's a good to think of doing some course related to the history or culture or politics of the country of that language. It's great asset while teaching or while involved in translating activity. Perspective is a great leveler. If we have this then the balance of rationality kicks in and one starts having empathy for the language. Even a trip to all parts of the country of that language can teach many things. All round perspective and knowledge of the language as well as country of language needs to be learnt simultaneously while learning the language.

Hi,
Both the courses are totally different from each other.
A course in foreign language gives you a chance to learn about the language, culture and tradition of a particular community whereas, political science provides you an opportunity to learn about the political system. Therefore, you should pursue a course according to your interest.
Both the courses offer a wide range of career opportunities.
By pursuing a course in foreign language you can become a translator, teacher, freelancer and interpreter.
Many multinational companies hire people who have knowledge of languages such as French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, etc.
After BA political science you can do MA in political science and appear for UGC NET exam for Assistant professor.
You can do LLB and become a lawyer or you can also appear for Union Public Service Commission or State Public Service Commission exams.
You can also appear for management entrance exams and pursue MBA.
In a nutshell, you are eligible for all the entrance exams after both BA in foreign language and BA in political science.

Nevertheless, all languages have their own utility and applicability but still, I would recommend you to follow 'Spanish Language'. Its syntax, grammar and even the words are similar to that of English. That's why, it is considered as the easiest language to learn. My suggestion is to look at the job market and see what jobs are out there that require more than just your native language/s and English. Then, decide which one fits what you have in mind. You might want to choose a language that is in the highest demand and pays the best by the businesses in your area. In India, Spanish, is in more demand because of its outsourcing. Many of the companies are setting up their operations in Spain, hence, they will need you. Many businesses like Travels & Tourist requires language translators who are very fluent in these languages so that they can translate those particular foreign languages into native language to facilitate the tourists. Spanish is the most widely speaking language throughout the world after English. Hence, it is in demand. Rest, depends upon your interest.
I hope this helps.
Best of luck.

As far as a foreign language in India is concerned, University of Delhi is proven to be the best so far. DU conducts various diplomas courses in foreign language in some of its colleges which has very high market value. Many foreign missions based in Delhi also run courses in their languages, which can be pursued part-time by aspirants. The certificates that you will get from DU is completely verified. Here, you will get the world class national/international faculties to teach you a specialized language. Here, some of the faculties also have great foreign experience in that particular field. So, getting admission in Delhi University for a foreign language should be your first option. But, if you are not eligible for Delhi University, you may consider Amity University, Noida campus as your second best option because the brand value of Amity University is increasing nowadays.
Best of Luck.
