If you have applied for SNAP then well and good. Make sure you get a good percentile for getting shortlisted. IBS, Hyderabad is better than GITAM and other colleges.

It is definitely a smart move to choose a career which prepares for senior level roles not only in India but across the world. What's most appealing about this course is its flexibility. You don't have to be a Chartered Accountant (CA) to pursue this course. In fact you can start right after 10+2. Owing to its highly professional standards, the ACCA exam is challenging. However, when compared with the US CPA, it is quite easier to handle. The pass rate for ACCA is around 50%, which is much higher than the Indian CA pass rates at 4%-5%.

Hi
Learning a different language like Korean can be useful in Korea only but if you learn languages like French, German, Japanese then it will make you more demanding not only in these countries but outside these as well. These languages matter more than Korean because Korea is an emerging traveler's destination. So, not many translators & guides are required.
Courses you can opt - You can study BA in tourism, culture & language from any foreign university. You can opt for English & any other language of your choice to study. After this course, you can become a receptionist, hotel manager or hotel managing staff. That might sound you a l'il too low. But that's not it. You can even become the CEO of any company with this degree if you are doing great in your field (it might require an MBA or any other Master's degree). You can also become a Travel guide, Event manager or you can open your own travelling firm if you are aiming high. To choose a career in tourism is like a "never-ending vacation". So be careful about that as well .
Hope it helps
Cheers!

GITAM is better ranked than Dinbandhu Andrews Institute. Some of the important points while selecting an institute are accreditation of the institute, institute's infrastructure, teaching faculty, specialization offered, past placements records, tuition fees, city preference, and industry interface. As both, the institutes are having the campus in Bangalore and Kolkata, industry exposure is good for students in either of the college. If possible a visit to college is better option to get a reality check. Also, get in touch with college alumni's through the social network to get information about the latest changes if any.

Hello, there is no need to prepare for CAT right from your second year. Generally, around 6 months of diligent preparation for 3-4 hours daily is enough to score well in CAT. Though you can start your preparations for it, indirectly, by improving your vocabulary (read the editorial columns of leading newspapers and other books, novels, etc) and strengthening your logical reasoning and mental calculation skills (speed maths tricks, logical puzzles, etc). Good luck!
