In order to get seat in GITAM School of Business the students need to take admissions for MBA course. The eligibility for MBA programme is graduate with 50% aggregate. Apart from this, the student need to have valid national-based entrance exam score such as CAT/MAT/XAT/ GAT,  NMAT . Candidate who do not have the exam score mentioned here, the candidate need to sit for GAT.

As of now, the admission process is on-going at GITAM Hyderabad School of Business. In order to get admission in GITAM Hyderabad School of Business, the candidate have to clear entrance exam. Students who have valid national-level entrance exam scores such as CAT/MAT/XAT/ GAT/ NMAT are exempted from GAT (Gitam Apptitude Test). For BBA and BCom course, the student need to clear UGAT/ GAT, respectively. Hence, at GITAM School of Business, no candidate can directly apply for course without entrance exam.

Apart from this,  International Admissions are open to Non-Resident Indians and other Nationalities for the academic year 2023-24.

 As per the annual report 2022, the highest package offered was INR 12.79 LPA during placement 2022. The highest package of INR 8.19 LPA in 2021. However, the highest package INR 16.75 LPA was offered in 2020.NOTE: The placement stats mentioned above is the overall placement record. Hence, it is not MBA specific.

If you want to get into a college that is only in Vizag, there's nothing better than Gitam . I would suggest or recommend anyone to join Gitam only if they are willing to work really hard and if they really want to get a good degree instead of a certificate for name sake ! You are provided with fairly good knowledge . They provide good infrastructure wherein you have to give presentations, participate in group discussions, get involved in club activities and fests, all these would help you in overcoming fear . You can take up extra courses for adding an advantage to your resume. Example risk management subject and you are also given coaching on BEC ( credit course which is certified by Cambridge University), Book review classes, CBA classes. College offers you placements till the end, but it all depends on us how we crack it in the interview. It follows trimester pattern, and there would be lots of work load for which one has to get prepared well in advance to face it all ! 

GITAM School of Business Hyderabad cutoff for MBA course is through Gitam Admission Test (GAT) scores. Also, candidates will scores in any of MAT, GMAT, CAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT or NMAT scores are eligible for the admission. Candidates meeting GITAM School of Business Hyderabad cutoff are called for the Personal Interviews followed by Counselling.GITAM School of Business Hyderabad has conducted MBA PI and Counselling after two rounds. Going as per the last year trend, MBA Phase 1 and Phase 2 PI and Counselling are expected to be held in Feb and Mar, respectively.
