Hey,
Well, obviously being a premier National Law University, GNLU is better than Symbiosis-Pune in terms of placements.
You get nearly all the tier 1 to tier 3 law firms, various PSU, corporate houses recruiting on campus.
All the big shots do recruit from GNlU every year.
Symbiosis, thus can't be compared to GNLU in terms of placements.
Obviously, it does offer good placements, but not as good as GNlU does.

BSW LL.B. (Hons.) from GNLU will any day me better than any course from Nirma University. BSW stream is equivalent to any other stream of GNLU and does not make any difference.

Hi, Firstly let me clarify one thing if you want to go into the corporate sector, your stream won't matter much but your knowledge of law would definitely. We have many seniors from B.S.W. who are placed at good-tier law firms. Secondly, GNLU is the only NLU offering this course so there is demand in the market for B.S.W. LL.B students company has a social responsibility which is called CSR and for that, they require social workers to manage that particular department that's why they would prefer a B.S.W.LL.B student instead of a social worker or just an LL.B degree holder as they will prefer 2 in 1. Then if you want to go for higher studies abroad this degree would help you a lot. Foreign universities prefer students who are more into community service. Also, there is a wide scope in third sector organizations for B.S.W. LL.B graduates and many international NGOs are there if you want to pursue your career in Human Rights, PayScale is also pretty good. Hope this will help.

You will have to keep checking for the website of the NLU you aim to take admission in or maybe contact the administration directly. But, I highly doubt that there will be much scope when you apply for the vacancies as, you must not be the only one who has done such blunder and the people with better AIR will be given preference over you. Good Luck.

Hey there,
You won't be getting a seat in GNLU.
However, you may get a seat in lower NLUs that might have availability of seats.

On the basis of national level and the university level entrance test, candidates will be selected for admissions into law colleges/universities. Some colleges offer direct admission into law courses on the basis of the qualifying marks of the candidate. The merit will be prepared on the basis of performance of the candidates in the qualifying examination. No state level law entrance test is organized for granting admissions. Besides this, some law schools consider CLAT rank card for admission.

Hey,
Well, GNLU is considered amongst the top 5 NLUs in India and thus has high standard when it comes to academics with the best set of faculties who are distinctly known in their fields of specialization and quite a liberal academics, when it comes to assignments for those who don't want much of them.
You get to study all the important laws as core papers and optional papers and seminar papers throughout your five years here. Also, when it comes to your stream selection, you have all the possible options which not every NLU has to offer as you get arts, commerce, management, science and tech and social work even. Also, the class hours are quite suitable and less exhausting with well-furnished air conditioned classrooms. So, you could definitely mark it a 10/10 when it comes to an overall study structure.
Also, when it comes to faculty, you have well experienced set of teachers. Most of them have either completed their PHD or pursuing. Also, each of them is UGCNET qualified.
Also, you have more than 3 teachers for every subject to get different perspectives on one single subject. However, each of them is capable enough to guide you on every subject.
The placements are good. All Tier 1 ,2,3 and Boutique firms and corporate firms recruit students .The average recruitment percentage lies between 75-80% students placed in a batch.
Also, special recruitments are made by firms looking for BBA LLB graduates such as Krishnomics legal etc.
Also, the faculty for BBA LLB also indulge the MBA courses in the university, thus they are much to cater you.
