Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Q:   Question: How is the course curriculum for B.Com at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya?

* However, another student mentioned that the curriculum is relevant and prepares students for industry-ready jobs.
* A few students praised the teaching quality, saying that the professors are highly qualified and knowledgeable, making the learning experience effective.
* Despite the mixed reviews, most students agreed that the course covers a wide range of subjects and topics related to commerce.

Note: Since there aren't many direct comments on the structure of the course curriculum, I've tried to summarize the general feedback provided by the students.

Best college from the point of view of infrastructure, fee structure, and campus environment.
Placements: Placement is not soo good but good. Many students get their placement at best packages, and many companies visit for placement. A placement cell is there which helps students to get placement. The maximum package students got is 50-60 lpa, and the average is 8 lpa.
Infrastructure: Best infrastructure at this fee structure. Layout and structure of the buildings are good. You will get the best labs for your experiments. Every department has its own labs, and there is a central library in which you will get books for all subjects.
Faculty: Faculty are so good and have a helping nature. They help every student. As for the exam patterns of this college, that is also good because the university takes its own exams with no external interference, and their own faculty checks the copies of each and every student.

Review of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: Because our college offers so many courses, placements are below average. The average salary package offered is about 6 LPA, and the highest depends on the branch. American Express visited our campus this year. In 2022, one of our seniors got a salary package of 36 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. You get unlimited Wi-Fi. Classrooms are good. There are two types of libraries. One is the central library, which is for all B.Tech. and non-B.Tech. students, and the other is a departmental library that is only for B.Tech. students. The first-year hostel is like a 5-star hotel, and the mess food is good. The canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. If students study well, they can clear their semester exams easily. The pass rate is the same as it is in other colleges. The teaching is also good. They care for all students. It is better than private colleges.
Other: Tech fests, connectivity, campus surroundings, etc., are good. Since the college has more than 34 courses, the crowd is huge.

Placements with low packages .
Placements: For the 20-24 batches, due to the recession, very few companies came for placements. However, the data suggests that companies like Gemini, Infosys, and TCS offer the maximum number of placements. Still, students from this college do go for M.Tech with good ranks in GATE, as well as for other government services exam prep. The highest package is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest is below 2 LPA. For the 24 batch, there are companies that came with very low packages, i.e., around 1.44 - 1.8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is recently built, so the classrooms, labs, and library are good. Wi-Fi facilities are available, but the range is not so good in many departments (this might have changed too). Speaking of the hostel, for 1st-year students, the hostel is amazing, but for the senior students, the hostel facilities are average. However, financially, it is cheaper and affordable. The mess, canteen, and medical facilities are good but not up to the mark.
Faculty: There are many amazing faculty members, but there are also some not-so-good ones. The faculty members who are amazing do help in various aspects, like providing career development opportunities. However, the curriculum does have some drawbacks as it doesn't make students fully industry-ready. But many clubs, like GFG, IEEE, SILICON SOCIETY, etc., are on duty, making every possible effort by organizing lectures, events, etc. In the ECE department, there is an initiative called the ECE Lecture Series, where alumni of the university visit and discuss their journey, their route, and all other opportunities that an ECE graduate student can pursue.
Other: There are various events, extracurricular activities, and an ambient campus environment with excellent connectivity with students from other departments, including law, arts, education, and commerce. The campus is surrounded by nature's beauty and diverse flora and fauna. I chose this course because I am not interested in the IT field, and the emerging industries of semiconductors and solar cells motivate people to choose ECE over other fields. If improvement is needed, it must be in the placement opportunities. Being the only central university in Chhattisgarh, there should be better placement opportunities here.

My thoughts on the university.
Placements: During the campus placements, many of our seniors participated in the interviews. Many of them didn't get through the campus placement. Only few got jobs in the campus placement. So I can say that acceptance rate is low. The highest package offered so far is 23 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but the hostel is not in the best condition. I think it needs improvement in many areas. Wi-Fi is not as fast as compared other private networks. I personally use private network providers. I use Wi-Fi when the speed is not issue. We got a very big ground for sport or games. The equipment or place are not in the perfect condition but decent. I can't ask more from this category.
Faculty: Faculty in the College is very interactive and supportive in many cases. They interact with us to know the problem or just become more like friends I like that very much. Exams are hard for everyone ofcourse. If we study or practice enough it will be easy.

Satisfied by hostel administration. Poor lab facility. Poor transportation inside campus.
Placements: Nil for electronics and communication. No on campus placements. But off campus placements have a lot of scope. If you have a start up idea then you get good support. College promotes entrepreneurs. The placement cell is collaborated with IIT Bombay for start up funding.
Infrastructure: Hostel is good for first years- allotted based on merit. For subsequent years the hostel is the worst. Have attached photos down. The first year hostel fees amounts for 10000 yearly. But it is applicable for your 1st academic year regardless of the time taken to complete it.
Faculty: Curriculum and exams are conducted in a good and strict way. Minimum of three invigilators per exam hall are present for both mid semester and session end examination. Professors do paper correction I. e. the paper setting and corrections are done inside the campus.
Other: Distance between buildings in campus is more. University campus is good.
