The tuition fee at Gauhati University is INR 48,000 to 1.4 Lacs while at Tezpur University it is INR 28,000 to 35,000. If we look at the coourses offered by the university Gauhati University offers more BSc courses than Tezpur University as there are more affiliated colleges providing the programme with Gauhati University than Tezpur University. GU provides 310 BSc courses while TU provides eight BSc courses.Therefore, If candidates want to compare the universities on the basis of affordability then Tezpur University is more affordable but if candidates are looking fir variety of courses than Gauhati University is better.

Some of the boards include CBSE, AHSEC, ISCE, ISC etc. Candidates can apply for admission at the university if they have secure a minimum aggregate of 40% from a state or central recognised board. The admission into the programme take place through the CUET-UG entrance exam. So, Candidates will have to appear for that exam once they have cleared their Class 12.
