60% score in Class 12th alone is not enough to guarantee admission to Himalayan University for B.Tech programs. While some universities do consider Class 12th marks as part of the eligibility criteria for B.Tech, Himalayan University primarily accepts JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions. Therefore, your chances of getting into B.Tech at Himalayan University will largely depend on your JEE Main score. A score of 60% in Class 12th might be considered an average score and might not be competitive enough for securing admission through JEE Main, especially for popular B.Tech branches. However, there are still a few things you can do :-Focus on your JEE Main score, consider other entrance exams, look at less competitive branches and apply early.

B.Tech at Himalayan University with a 75 percentile in JEE Main is difficult because the cutoff scores can vary depending on several factors:Branch-specific cutoffs: Different B.Tech branches at Himalayan University may have different cutoff scores based on their popularity and seat availability.Overall applicant pool: The number of applicants and their JEE Main scores in a particular year can influence the cutoff scores.Reservation categories: Seats are reserved for certain categories like SC, ST, OBC, and PwD, which can affect the general cutoff for unreserved seats. However, a 75 percentile in JEE Main is generally considered a good score, and it increases your chances of getting admission into several B.Tech programs at Himalayan University, especially for less competitive branches.
