B.Tech Selection Process at Himalayan University:The selection process for B.Tech at Himalayan University (HU) consists of two main stages:1. Entrance Exam:Primary Exam: HU primarily considers JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions. Candidates must have appeared for the latest JEE Main exam and secured a valid score.Additional Options: Depending on the chosen B.Tech branch and availability of seats, HU might also consider scores from:SAT: Some branches, like Computer Science and Engineering, might consider SAT scores as an alternative to JEE Main.HUET (Himalayan University Entrance Test): In case candidates haven't appeared for JEE Main or SAT, they can take HUET conducted by the university itself.2. Merit List and Seat Allocation:Once all applications are received, HU prepares a merit list based on the highest score obtained in the chosen entrance exam (JEE Main, SAT, or HUET).Seats are then allocated to candidates based on their rank on the merit list and their preferred branch of study. There may be additional considerations like reservation categories and regional preferences in certain cases.
