Branch wise speaking, there will be more scope of placements in computer science branch as compared to aeronautical engineering, Also, there will be more of theoretical aspects covered in B.E branch as compared to B.Tech branch, so if you want to be job oriented, you have to opt for B.Tech branch, for the simple reason being more scope of placement. However, if research means a lot to you, you must definitely go for B.E in aeronautical engineering branch and then opt for further study in a good university.

I would suggest you go ahead with SRM rather than Hindustan. reason:
SRM has better ranking and infrastructure
Better Professors
Better Placements than Hindustan.
So, I would suggest you go ahead with SRM.

Hello!
As long as you clear your arrears and produce the required graduation mark-sheets (and other documents) before the deadline given by the college, you can study there.

Hello Tanmoy, Yes, a student of mechanical engineering at undergraduate level can surely think of doing PG in aeronautical engineering. Of course the student can not select "avionics" as specialisation. However, any sub-branch of aeronautical engineering related to mechanical engineering can be selected if the student selects appropriate paper of GATE.
Best wishes for your dream of pursuing PG in aeronautical engineering.

A B.Tech course is available in structural engineering (lateral entry) which has a duration of three years but it is not part-time rather a full-time course.
Good Luck!
