It depends on your marks. It will be much easier to get admission by scoring good in HITSEEE, but there are certain eligibility criteria that you should have a minimum Average of 60% in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry put together.

this year the highest package is about 20 lakh/annum.from electronics and communication department about 35 students got campus placements.
Its 100% sure that you will get campus placement but you must be capable of it.

I don't know much about the lab,this year aeronautical department got the best department award,I hope that the faculty are good, as I have heard Hindustan is among the best for aeronautical engineering.
