Ibs hyd placements are decent but not bad, average package of ibs is 6.3lpa, so you can see average of 6.3lpa of odd 1200 students are not bad.

Firstofall your question is biased but still i am going to answer based on what i think you tried to ask.
It was not 14 but 16 lakhs. 6 guys in deshaw for finance domain.
All were freshers and 9 to 9.75 pointers

You can opt for college who don't much concentrated on entrance exam, and have there own criteria for selecting students like based on gd pi or their own entrance exam.

Its true that finance is good from placement point of view but marketing is also not bad here, but operation is not good as hardly company comes here for operation guys

The highest package offered in marketing is 48 lacs and avg is 6.3 lacs. In finance highest package was 16 lacs.

In ibs you don't have much scope in operation from placement point of view, yeah its true finance is very good here
