At IIEST Shibpur, MSc admissions are based on the candidates' performance in the last qualifying exam and the availability of seats for various MSc specialisations. In order to be eligible for the IIEST Shibpur MSc courses, candidates must have completed their graduation with a minimum aggregate of 60% in the relevant stream. However, the shortlisting of candidates is done according to the marks scored in the accepted exam and performance in the PI round. After selection, they have to attend the counselling round to get their seat confirmed.
