IIT Kanpur will declare the result for JEE Advanced 2018 and along with the result, the exam conducting authority will also declare JEE Advanced 2018 cutoff. The cutoff of JEE Advanced 2018 is the closing rank at which admission to a particular engineering/branch, at a particular IIT closes. Candidates securing a rank below than the cutoff of JEE Advanced 2018 will not be considered eligible for admissions. In other words, candidates have to secure a rank above JEE Advanced 2018 cutoff to secure a seat. The cutoff ofJEE Advancedfor the year 2018 will be released by IIT Kanpur once the result of the entrance test will be declared, however, the cutoff data for 2017 and 2016 can be checked below. By checking JEE Advanced cutoff 2018, aspiring candidates will get to know their admission chances. JEE Advanced 2018 cutoff will be available category-wise, institution-wise and branch-wise. Your score sounds good if you had fulfilled all the eligibility criteria for individual subjects i.e. nearly 10% in each subject then you have right to fill admission form for IIST.

From this year IIST takes admissions on the basis of JEE Mains rank if you secure a good rank in that then you will definitely see yourself in IIST.
For further information make a shortlist of that college and make opening and closing rank list category wise.

IIST is the third best option to pursue aerospace engineering after IITs and PEC University - Chandigarh. There is no fee in IIST and ISRO will offer you job of scientific officer subject to availability of vacancies on completion of B.Tech.
