The admission for 2024 session will begin soon. Students can check the cutoff for M.Tech course of 2023. IIST cutoff 2023 is released on the institute’s official website. Students get admission in M.Tech programme which is offered based on the GATE scores. The college offers various specializations like Aerodynamics and Flight Mechanics, Structures and Design, Thermal and Propulsion, Control System, Digital Signal Processing, Power Electronics, RF and Microwave Engineering, VLSI and Microsystems etc. The cutoff for M.Tech stood at 350 for OBC Category 315, for PWD category 175 score. Students will have to score above than the cutoff to be eligible for the admission.

The assistantship/scholarship pays for costs like tuition, student amenities, a hostel with food, establishment fees, and medical costs. There is also an extra book allowance of Rs. 3000 given each semester.For students (apart from those in the SC, ST, and PD categories) who maintain a minimum Grade Point Average of 7.5 in each semester, this assistantship will be extended past the first semester. If this doesn't work, students have to pay the pre-notified prices for the following semester, which include tuition, student amenities, a hostel, food and establishment charges, and medical costs.
