IIT-Powai is an autonomous institute under MHRD, Government of India and uses the JEE Mains & JEE Advance score for admission in the undergraduate degree course. It does not use MHT-CET score.

Mumbai IIT is the cream of all IIT'S. You need to be in 95+ percentile in your catagory to get admission here. These days students of all catagories have started doing better.

Hey Rahul,
SJMSOM does not admit through MAT and CET scores. CAT is the entrance exam that you'll have to give to apply (next year) for SJMSOM.

Hi Sandeep,
Since, you've got a call, your CAT percentile now holds only 20% weight towards your admission. Having 36 months of work experience certainly boosts your chances, but a lot also depends on your 10th, 12th, and graduation scores and also, on your WAT/PI performance.
To see the full distribution you can check out the latest admission criteria and evaluations :
http://www.som.iitb.ac.in/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=450&Itemid=60 .
You'll find that girls and non-engineering are given additional points too.
That being said, I still feel that you have quite a good chance of getting admission in SJMSOM.
