IITs require Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as their basic eligibility requirements. Without Mathematics, one is ineligible for JEE Advanced or to pursue BTech programs in IITs. So, if you are keen on pursuing engineering, consider adding Mathematics on your scorecard.

The basic eligibility is to pass graduation with a minimum aggregate of 60% from a recognised university. Additionally, students should have a valid CAT score based on which they will be shortlisted for the PI round. The institute also takes into consideration the past academic performance and work experience of the students. Those who qualify for the Personal Interview round will be required to report to the admission cell at SJSOM, IIT Bombay for document verification and fee payment.
