Candidates seeking admission can apply by following the below-mentioned criterion:The BTech aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE (Main) through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 1,000 and INR 800 for girls (general/gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) category). Read more about JEE 2023 Application Process.For MTech, candidates are required to register for GATE through the official website of the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) (gate.iitk.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 1,700, INR 850 for girls, and INR 850 for SC/ST/PwD category students. Facilities of Free Messing is also available to SC/ ST students under which they get an exemption from paying the tuition fees. In addition, the Office of the Dean Alumni & Corporate Relations manages the Named scholarship endowed by the alumni of the Institute and other wellwishers. After the conclusion of the application procedure, candidates are shortlisted based on scores in GATE/ UGC-NET (Lectureship)/ UGC-JRF/ CSIR-NET/ CAT/ GMAT/ GRE. Based on the cutoff marks, candidates with a score equal to or higher than the cutoff are selected. The eligible candidates without a valid score have to appear for an entrance test (which is an Aptitude Test covering four sections – English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Analytical Reasoning and Data Interpretation). Shortlisted students further have to appear for an interview.
