For admission to SJMSOM for the flagship MBA course, the result of CAT 2023 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 (If the CAT conducting body follows the trend as in 2022). However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. For admission to MBA 2024 batch at SJMSOM, the CAT test will be conducted on November 26, 2023. For admission to the MBA programme at SJSOM, IIT Bombay the application process is usually concluded in January. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme at SJSOM must apply through the SJSOM official website by paying the required registration fee before the last date mentioned in the notification and admission bulletin issued by SJSOM.Also, SJSOM generally concludes the application process for admission to the PhD course between March and April. Candidates willing to take admission to the PhD in management programme at SJSOM, IIT Bombay must fill out the online application form through SJSOM official website.

There are 24 'Core Faculty' for about 220 students which work out to a faculty: student ratio of about 1:10. If we include the visiting faculty, the ratio will be even better. SJMSOM faculty members are highly qualified and are the alumnus of the top institutes in the country.

As such there are no multiple SJMSOM Counselling rounds for MBA cutoff . Candidates who appear in the CAT 2023 are eligible for counselling only if they get the required minimum marks as per the eligibility criteria SJMSOM. Also, all candidates who appeared in the written exam and are interested in admission must submit appear for the personal interviews. Going as per the past year trends, SJMSOM Counselling 2024 is to be conducted in three steps. First step is appaer for CAT, second step is to qualigy for the round and finally appear for the interview.
