The path to pursuing an MBA at the prestigious IIT Madras - Department of Management Studies (DMS) is an arduous one, but with a well-rounded profile, candidates can unlock a world of opportunities. To begin with, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university, but not just any degree will do. They must have earned a minimum of 60% marks or a 6.0 CGPA (out of 10.0) in their qualifying degree. But that's just the beginning. The admissions process also requires candidates to have a valid score on the coveted Common Admission Test (CAT). The shortlisted candidates are then summoned to participate in a rigorous selection process that includes a personal interview and group discussion. The final decision for admission is not solely based on these components, but also includes factors such as work experience and academic background. The application process is open to final-year students as well, but they must ensure they meet their graduation requirements and have their final degree certificate ready for submission by the time of admission. However, meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the programme. IIT Madras - DMS takes pride in being highly competitive and maintains a comprehensive selection process that scrutinizes candidates on multiple parameters. Therefore, candidates with a well-rounded profile and outstanding performance throughout the selection process have the best chance of making their dreams a reality.

No. IIT Delhi BTech admission is based on JEE Advanced scores only. In case the candidate wishes to take admission to MSc at IIT Delhi, you must appear and clear IIT JAM entrance exam. Similarly, GATE is a 'must' entrance exam to apply for the MTech programme at IIT Delhi. Last but not the least, IIT Delhi PhD admissions are based on the CSIR-JRF or equivalent entrance exam. Hence, it's very clear that IIT Delhi admission to all of the courses is based on candidates' performance in several national-level entrance tests.
