Hi, Yes, of course. LPU is the First Private University to be Granted ICAR Accreditation By the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. The faculty is well qualified, and most of them are Ph. This and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held. If a faculty wants a leave, either the makeup lectures are planned, or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. In this stream, as most of the work is fieldwork, every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks under the supervision of the staff. If I talk about placements, University provides separate placement-oriented classes, and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. Etera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students. Candidate should note that for admission to Masters degree programmes through entrance examination conducted by NTA, only the candidates having passed graduation with four/six (10+6 B.Sc. Ag. )/five years (B. V. Sc. & AH) degree programme from any public funded/government. institution will be eligible. Candidates passed out from private Agricultural Universities/Colleges not accredited by ICAR, even though affiliated to public funded/government. are not eligible for admission through this examination. Only those candidates from Private Agricultural Universities/Colleges (accredited by ICAR) are eligible to appear in the
examination who have completed their degree in programmes accredited by ICAR. Further the candidate must have secured at least 60% marks for General, OBC, UPS and EWS categories whereas for SC/ST/PwD categories the requirement is 50% marks. So you can be eligible if meeting the above criteria.
