To raise objection against the IIFT answer key and response sheet, the candidates are required to fill an online application form available on the official website and pay the requisite fees. The IIFT answer key challenge window opens for two to three days, during which candidates have to raise objection by following the process. No, objections can be raised only on the preliminary IIFT answer key released before the exam result. Once the final answer key and result are released, no request for raising objection will be accepted. So candidates must avail the answer key challenge opportunity within the given time frame only. Raising objection is a one-time activity and should be done only if candidates are sure that the official answer is incorrect and they can provide evidence for the same. For every objection, fee is charged which is non-refundable if the objection is not found to be valid.

IIFT response sheet and answer key are made available for download from the official website of NTA-IIFT for two to three days. The answer key download is activated about 10-15 days after the exam. Candidates can check the IIFT response sheet and answer key at the NTA website by using their login credentials, i.e. IIFT application number and date of birth. The final IIFT answer key (if the preliminary answer key is revised in response to objections received) is released as a PDF and is available without login. The final answer key is released either with the result or a couple of days after result announcement.

Yes, IIFT releases cutoff lists category-wise. The cutoff also varies for MBA-International Business and Business Analytics admission. For General category, the IIFT cut off is higher than that for Reserved category students. For example, IIFT 2022 cut off for General category candidates was 52.75 but for SC/ST candidates, it was 42.75. in 2023, the qualifying cut off was 35 percentile for General-EWS and NC-OBC categories, it is 35 percentile. The candidates will be allowed to raise objection to IIFT answer key only until the objection window is open. No request will be accepted once the answer key challenge window closes on the NTA-IIFT website. The scores mentioned in the IIFT result will be final based on the final answer key, revised after examination of the objections received, so there will be no provision of challenging the official answer keys later. Test takers must ensure they fill the IIFT answer key objection form within the window so that their objections are accepted and examined.

If a candidate does not clear the sectional cut-offs of the IIFT entrance exam they will not be shortlisted for essay writing, GD and PI rounds of IIFT admission for MBA-International Business. Clearing sectional cut off is mandatory for getting shortlisted. Candidates preparing for IIFT MBA admission must ensure that they prepare and perform equally well in all the four sections of the exam to meet the sectional cut off.The sectional and overall cut offs for IIFT MBA admission are different for the Unreserved and Reserved categories but every aspirant has to meet the minimum requirement as set by the institute.

IIFT may conduct the WAT-PI and GD in online mode for 2024 admissions as in 2023, the institute gave option to candidates to appear for this round of shortlisting of candidates for MBA-International Business and MBA-Business Analytics admissions in person or online. Most of the candidates opted for the online mode thus, the institute conducted the personality assessment round online via video conferencing.The IIFT WAT-PI and GD round was conducted online in 2020, 2021 and 2022 due to COVID-19 pandemic in which WAT and GD were replaced by Extempore. Before that, the selection round was conducted face to face every year.
