To gain admission to undergraduate programs at IISc and Delhi University colleges, different criteria must be MET. IISc offers B.Sc. (Research) and B.E. Programs, and applicants are required to clear national-level entrance examinations to be considered for admission. Conversely, Delhi University offers undergraduate programs in various fields, and admissions are based on merit or entrance examinations. For instance, admission to engineering programs at IIT Delhi is based on the rank secured in the JEE Advanced. As for the B. Des programme, candidates must have passed their 10+2 level board examination in either the Science or commerce stream. The admission requirements for various postgraduate courses may also vary depending on the institute and programme.

IISc and IIIT are not doing lateral admission in B.Tech courses. The admission in IISc in B.Tech courses are based on JEE Advanced ranks, while JEE Main is for IIITs.

The Indian Institutes of Technology and the Indian Institute of Science are both highly reputable institutions in India, known for their excellence in education and research. Some advantages of the Indian Institutes of Technology over the Indian Institute of Science include:
Indian Institutes of Technology offer a wider range of undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering and technology, while the Indian Institute of Science primarily focuses on postgraduate studies and research in science and engineering.
Indian Institutes of Technology have a larger student population and more campus facilities, such as housing and sports facilities.
Indian Institutes of Technology have a wider network of alumni and partnerships with industry and research organizations, which can provide more opportunities for internships, co-op programs, and career development for students.
However, it is important to note that both the Indian Institute of Technology and the Indian Institute of Science have their own strengths and unique features. The decision about which institution to attend should be based on an individual's personal interests, career goals, and academic strengths.
Most engineering graduates consider the Indian Institute of Science to be a better research institute than any of the Indian Institutes of Technology. However, the bachelor's degree at the top Indian Institutes of Technology beats out its corresponding course at the Indian Institute of Science. From a purely financial standpoint, the Indian Institutes of Technology are a better bet for students to become financially secure. the Indian Institute of Science was set up to promote science and research, and it has been able to produce the goods just as well.
Student-faculty ratio: At the Indian Institutes of Technology, there are approximately 3035 students in your class, so the teacher is not as familiar with all of the students and their academic performance, whereas, at the Indian Institute of Science, there are only 67 students, making it much easier for you and the teacher to focus in the classroom.
Style of teaching: Teachers are more friendly than at any other institute, and they always ask the students first before finalizing any decision about exams, extra classes, etc., like the fact that there is no particular date fixed for your exam. There is no strict time limit on the exam. No teacher will ever try to make you feel like a loser who knows nothing in life, which is a very commonly observed problem at the Indian Institutes of Technology. Instead, they will always try to encourage you to speak in class, even if you are wrong. Apart from this, you will find that the person who just gave a 1-hour lecture in this class is quite a well-known personality in the research community and has won a lot of national and international awards as well.
About the research: IISc has non-comparable labs that are on par with many of the world's top universities. As far as the electronics department is concerned, IISc has the best faculty in the country. I felt that the Indian Institute of Science faculties were more approachable. Only a few faculties in the Indian Institutes of Technology are finer, and the rest of the faculties are quite different. In terms of quantity or quality, it is way beyond any Indian Institutes of Technology; you would be amazed to see people who have won Noble Prizes and a few who were nominated for them still love their lab and work at the Indian Institute of Science.
Placement: IISc students won't bother about IT placements if they are from ' non-IT ' departments. Companies coming to the Indian Institute of Science will come mostly to recruit postgraduate students and research scholars for their research and development department with a high pay scale. Here is where IISc stands better than the Indian Institutes of Technology: At the Indian Institute of Science, you will see all of our core companies. Also, refer to Education and Image in the NYTimes. Together in India, not many colleges are at par with the Indian Institute of Science in any category. GATE toppers prefer the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and the Indian Institute of Science. Both the Indian Institutes of Technology and the Indian Institute of Science have excellent reputations. Finally, everything depends on the rank you secure in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering exam. Once you get to the Indian Institute of Science, the sky is the limit in the present scenario of post-graduation employment.
Social Status: Indian Institutes of Technology are pretty well known in India. Thanks to news, books, and movies, hardly anyone knows the value of the Indian Institute of Science, and movies, hardly anyone knows the value of the Indian Institute of Science. The Indian Institute of Technology is the best in India, but what is the Indian Institute of Science and where is it? Also, the Indian Institutes of Technology have produced more entrepreneurs, whereas the Indian Institute of Science has produced many research fellows. Prof. CNR Rao, Abdul Kalam, and Satish Dhawan are never associated with the Indian Institute of Science, but famous people from the Indian Institutes of Technology are always associated with the Indian Institutes of Technology.
Life will occur as a result of the presence of bachelor's students at the Indian Institutes of Technology. You may see many grand technical and cultural festivals at the Indian Institutes of Technology. Contrary to that, life in IISc is peaceful and without any noise, which will make you fall in love with nature.
Infrastructure and Application: At the Indian Institute of Science, they have the best possible infrastructure and its application in the nation. Indian Institutes of Technology also has a great infrastructure but doesn't have sufficient skilled manpower to exploit or squeeze the full capabilities of the infrastructure.
I hope this will help you.

The M.Tech. Stipend is provided to postgraduate students pursuing M.Tech. Programs in various institutes across India, including IITs, IISc, and state government colleges. The Government of India announced in the 2021 Union Budget that the M.Tech. Stipend scheme for postgraduate students in engineering will be discontinued from the academic year 2021-2022 in all central government-funded technical institutions, including IITs. However, the decision to discontinue the M.Tech. Stipend scheme may vary for state government-funded technical institutions and IISc. It is best to check with the respective institutions regarding the availability of the stipend scheme for M.Tech. Students. Also, it is important to note that the stipend scheme for other postgraduate programs, such as Ph.D. may continue to be available for eligible students in various technical institutions in India. The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, is considered better for research facilities than VIT. IISc is known for its research courses and has been ranked at the 155th position in the QS world rankings. It was also named the world's top research university in the QS World University Rankings 2021. Although VIT published 2233 papers in 2015, 18 more than IISc, IISc still offers better research facilities due to its reputation as a premier research institution and its strong industry connections. It also has various events, such as conferences and seminars, that provide students with opportunities to learn from experts in their field. Overall, IISc Bangalore is the better option for research facilities due to its excellent reputation, strong industry connections, and various events.
