Both IISc and IITs are the premier institutes of India. But there are certain distinctions between them in terms of research, faculty, ranking, etc. deciding which university is better varies from student to student based on different parameters set by them. However, as per NIRF 2023 Rankings, IISc Bangalore holds the top two rankings in the "University" and "Overall" categories. The majority of IITs are not as highly ranked by the NIRF.
