IGDTUW offers a variety of programs, including BTech, BArch, BBA, MTech, MPlan, MCA, and PhD. It is India's first women's technical university. The NIRF ranked it 177 among engineering colleges in 2022. While in 2021, NIRF ranked IGDTUW 161st among the best engineering colleges in India and 7th in Delhi. Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell that facilitates recruitment programs at the university. The highest package offered at IGDTUW was INR 82 LPA, and the average package offered was INR 26.11 LPA. The median pay given to UG and PG students during the IGDTUW placements in 2021 was INR 15 LPA and INR 10 LPA, respectively. The institute provides internships and prepares students for the placement process.
