A choice between IGDTUW for CSE and IIT Mandi for Mechanical would involve your priority lists: whether it is the reputation/ranking that you are after or not. Generally speaking, IIT Mandi enjoys a higher ranking and reputation nation-wide than does IGDTUW. IITs enjoy a good reputation throughout the country when it comes to the quality of education and research.2. Department Strength: The CSE department of IGDTUW is good concerning faculties, and the industry linkages are also good. IIT Mandi has a great Mechanical Engineering branch with excellent research facilities. On the other hand, if you prefer a more general, higher-ranked institution with better placement, then the option for you may be IIT Mandi. If you want a good CSE course with a core technology drive, then IGDTUW is not a bad choice.

With a JEE Mains rank of 99,049 and an EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category, your chances of admission to Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) are moderate to low, especially for popular branches like Computer Science (CSE) and Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), which typically have much lower cutoffs. Due to EWS reservations and female only seats you may have a better chance of being accepted into branches with higher cutoff ranks, such as Mechanical and Automation Engineering or Information Technology. Exploring state counselling options and other engineering colleges in Delhi may improve your chances.

{Source: B.Arch students & alumni}Here's what current students and alumni have to say:Placement and Career Opportunities* Despite having a high percentage of students getting placed (almost 90%), the reality is that placement opportunities for B.Arch students are limited. Only 1 person gets selected for placement annually.* Internships are mandatory, and almost 100% of students opt for internships during their semester break.Faculty and Teaching Quality* While some teachers are helpful and experienced, others are considered rude and unhelpful.* Faculty members are highly qualified, with some having over 35 years of on-field experience.Infrastructure and Facilities* The campus has modern facilities, including a state-of-the-art library, classrooms, and 3D model labs.* Hostel facilities are decent, with comfortable living spaces and amenities like Wi-Fi, fans, and a library.Student Life and Extracurricular Activities* Fests and events are organized regularly, attracting participation from over 30 colleges.* Students have access to various societies, clubs, and sports facilities, promoting overall development.Pros and ConsIn conclusion, pursuing B.Arch at IGDTUW Delhi requires careful consideration. While the institution boasts excellent infrastructure and faculty, placement opportunities for B.Arch students are limited. Students must weigh these factors against the benefits of attending a reputed university with strong academic programs. Ultimately, it depends on individual goals and priorities.

{Source: MCA students & alumni}Based on the feedback from current students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:* Placement Prospects: While the majority of students (approximately 75-80%) are placed, the placement opportunities are limited to certain companies, mainly smaller ones. Big tech giants like TCS, Capgemini, and Cognizant often visit the campus, but the highest package offered is INR 19 LPA, while the average package is INR 5.5 LPA.* Infrastructure and Facilities: The college has basic infrastructure, with decent hostels, a small library, and relatively new classrooms. However, the quality of facilities varies, and some areas require improvement.* Faculty and Teaching: Faculty members are generally helpful and knowledgeable, with some exceptions. The course curriculum could benefit from updates and more emphasis on practical assessments and projects.* Student Life: Student life is relatively calm, with regular fests and events organized by various clubs and societies.* Cost: The course fee is approximately INR 1,05,000 per year, making it an affordable option.Considering these factors, whether MCA at IGDTUW Delhi is worth the investment depends on individual priorities and goals.
