For admission, they consider only your JEE Mains scores, but it should be really good like 300+ or if they see your caste, your marks should be at least 280+ .

As a result closing ranks are quite stiff. Last year the admissions closed at percentile of 99.78. Of course this year too situation is not likely to change much.
