I am filly satisfied with college as it provide many opportunities.
Placements: Students can easily obtain the necessary packages. However, not all students are eligible for college placement. Students with high overall marks will have no trouble finding a job. Students with special skills are also eligible for placement, not just those who meet the minimum percentage requirements.
Infrastructure: All buildings are well constructed and maintained. Smart boards are present in every classroom. Most classes are intelligent classes. The library is well maintained, and all necessary books are available. The cost of canteen food is not worthit.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified, have years of experience, and understand how to manage a classroom and students. Not all teachers are strict in their instruction, but some also show very good behaviour. Semi-final exams are so challenging that not everyone can pass them. For some courses, industry visits are scheduled.

    Overall, very good campus experience.
Placements: Almost 75 to 80% of students got placed from the university last year; the highest package was 54 lakh rupees per annum and the average package was 5.5 lakh per annum. Companies like Amazon, Samsung, and Tata Ion are top recruiters in the university. And they also provide internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: There are separate buildings for all course departments, each equipped with its own Wi-Fi network. The classrooms are quite spacious, accommodating the number of students comfortably. The hostel infrastructure is also good, with separate buildings for boys and girls. Additionally, there is a fully air-conditioned mess for hostel students, which is also available for university students to enjoy.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful for students and have good behavior. All teachers have more than 10 year of experience so it is very easy for students to understand the topics . This course is skill development course, which definitely make the students ready for market. There are sessional exams held every two months and a final semester exam at the end of the year. But the difficulty level is not so hard.
Other: I chose this course because it helps in developing the skills of a person rather than only focusing on theories, which I think are not relevant for the market as skills are more important. Events and festivals are held in every festival session, and recently the university has also celebrated the foundation day of the university and the crowds in every activity are pretty good.

Q:   Is YMCA University good for M.Sc.?

    A:
    {Source: M.Sc. students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered:

    * Infrastructure: The university has a good infrastructure, with well-equipped laboratories, comfortable classrooms, and a decent library.
    * Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. They guide students not just in academics but also for career growth and entrances like GATE or CSIR NET.
    * Course Curriculum: The curriculum is relevant, and the syllabus is designed well. However, some students felt that it could be more challenging.
    * Examinations: Semester exams are considered moderate to difficult, but with good preparation, students can achieve good grades.
    * Placement: While most students praised the placement record for B.Tech and MBA students, the situation was different for M.Sc. students. About 30% of students got placed, but mostly in low-paying jobs.
    * Research Opportunities: Unfortunately, internships were not available in the M.Sc. program.
    * Career Growth: Although the placement scenario wasn't ideal, students believed that the quality education and research opportunities prepared them well for further studies or careers.

In summary, while YMCA University has its strengths, particularly in terms of infrastructure and faculty, the M.Sc. programme seems to have limitations in terms of placement and research opportunities. It's essential for aspiring students to weigh these factors carefully when considering the university for their higher education.

Please note that these observations are based on a compilation of students' and alumni's reviews and might not represent the entire experience.

Q:   Is it worth pursuing M.E./M.Tech at YMCA University?

    A:
    {Source: M.E./M.Tech students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:
    * Campus life is great, with many clubs, sporting grounds, and facilities.
    * Faculty members are generally experienced and knowledgeable.
    * Research opportunities and seminars are organized regularly.
    * Hostel facilities are available for girls and boys, although the condition may vary.

    Cons:
    * Curriculum is outdated and redundant, leading to limited job prospects.
    * Placements for M.Tech (CSE) are poor, and students often struggle to find jobs.
    * Teachers may lack qualifications in M.Tech and prioritize theoretical over practical learning.
    * Facilities such as drinking water, canteen food, and washrooms need improvement.
    * High expectations regarding grades and attendance can lead to stress.

Considering these points, while YMCA University may have some strengths, the overall experience seems to be mixed. Students may face challenges finding suitable employment due to the outdated curriculum and poor placements. However, those interested in research or wanting to gain hands-on experience may still consider attending the institution. Ultimately, it depends on individual priorities and goals.

Q:   Can I get admission in YMCA Faridabad through CUET?

    A:

No, CUET is not compulsory for admission at YMCA University. YMCA takes the students on the basis of merit or entrance exam score. Admission to BSc, BA, BBA, BCA and MA programmes are based on merit. Programmes like MBA, BTech and MTech requires and entrance exam score. JEE Mains and LEET exam compulsory for admission to BE/BTech course.  CAT/MAT/XAT is required to get admission in MBA and PGDM programmes at YMCA Faridabad.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

    A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
