The Institute for Fashion Technology & Design (IFT), formerly known as IFT YMCA Delhi, is a certificate and degree-granting organisation that provides courses in interior design and fashion design. Each course has a different cost structure. While degree programs may cost significantly more, perhaps INR 2 to 3 lakhs, Diploma programs typically cost between INR 1.5 and 2 Lacs for the duration of the course. IFT YMCA is a good choice for students interested in design jobs because it provides industry-oriented training at a comparatively low cost when compared to other private fashion institutes.

A number of considerations must be made when deciding between MIT Manipal, YMCA University of Science and Technology (YMCA), and JC Bose University of Science and Technology for your mechanical engineering degree. Benefiting from its association with the esteemed Manipal Academy of Higher Education, MIT Manipal is well-known for its robust engineering programs, first-rate instructors, and cutting-edge facilities. The organisation frequently receives greater recognition and a higher national ranking. On the other hand, JC Bose University and YMCA University are reputable universities in and of themselves with top-notch staff and facilities. But MIT Manipal's well-established standing and cutting-edge resources might offer more benefits in terms of career prospects and the calibre of education. When choosing, take into account factors like employment prospects, campus amenities, academic expertise, and infrastructure.

While ranking 188th and 81. Scoring 83% marks in the YMCA merit list; your prospects are very bright to get an admission if you belong to the BC-B category. Normally, the colleges, universities determine the admission under centralized category wise reservations which in turn will improve the chances of admission. Of course, the exact number may differ with each passing year depending on the turnout of candidates as well as their performance but your rank looks good for various programs. So, it is always a wise thing to follow the official sites of YMCA for the final merit list and if there is any counseling session going on, it is better to attend those counseling sessions as well.

However, some students felt that the coursework could be improved.* Placement Opportunities: Unfortunately, the placement scene for B.Sc students at YMCA University is limited. Fewer companies visit the campus for placements, and many students opt for higher education or freelance work instead. The highest package offered was reportedly around INR7 LPA.* Student Life: Campus life is generally enjoyable, with students appreciating the friendly atmosphere and social events. However, some students mentioned concerns about strict rules and limited freedom. In conclusion, while YMCA University seems to offer a decent educational experience, the placement opportunities for B.Sc students are a major concern. {Source: M.Sc. students & alumni}Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered:* Infrastructure: The university has a good infrastructure, with well-equipped laboratories, comfortable classrooms, and a decent library.* Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. They guide students not just in academics but also for career growth and entrances like GATE or CSIR NET.* Course Curriculum: The curriculum is relevant, and the syllabus is designed well. However, some students felt that it could be more challenging.* Examinations: Semester exams are considered moderate to difficult, but with good preparation, students can achieve good grades.* Placement: While most students praised the placement record for B.Tech and MBA students, the situation was different for M.Sc. students. About 30% of students got placed, but mostly in low-paying jobs.* Research Opportunities: Unfortunately, internships were not available in the M.Sc. program.* Career Growth: Although the placement scenario wasn't ideal, students believed that the quality education and research opportunities prepared them well for further studies or careers. In summary, while YMCA University has its strengths, particularly in terms of infrastructure and faculty, the M.Sc. programme seems to have limitations in terms of placement and research opportunities. It's essential for aspiring students to weigh these factors carefully when considering the university for their higher education. Please note that these observations are based on a compilation of students' and alumni's reviews and might not represent the entire experience.
