As per the CUET UG website, students seeking admission to BA at Jamia Millia must appear for and qualify CUET exam. Candidates seeking admission to Jamia Millia Islamia for BA must have passed Class 12 or SSC with a minimum aggregate ranging from 40-50%. The passing percentage is different for different specialisations offered in the BA programme. Admission to Jamia Millia Islamia for BA and BA (Hons) is subject to either CUET (conducted by NTA) or JMI entrance exam. Till 2021, admission was subject to the JMI entrance exam across all specialisations. In the form, fill all the details asked, upload the required documents and pay the application fee. Starting 2022, for BA, BSc and BVoc, JMI started accepting the scores of CUET UG. For the same, students need to register for the exam, appear for it and qualify it. Qualified students of CUET UG are required to register for JMI counselling after which merit lists will be released with the name of the shortlisted students. For the remaining courses, however, the university is still accepting national and university-level entrance exam for final selection.

Jamia Millia Islamia (also known as JMI) is a central university located in Delhi. Jamia Millia Islamia offers seat reservations in almost all the courses based on the category of the students. Candidates seeking JMI admission under the reserved category can apply for reservation under one category only and are required to fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions of the course. • 30% of the total number of seats in each course are reserved for Muslim applicants. 10% of the total number of seats in each course are reserved for women applicants
  who are Muslims and 10% of the total number of seats in each course shall be earmarked for (OBCs) and ST students who are Muslims.
• 5% of seats in all the courses are reserved for physically challenged students.
• 5% of seats in all courses must be filled by internal students of Jamia who have passed their qualifying exam from Jamia schools as regular students.
