Jamia Millia Islamia offers a two-year MA programme to the stduents across more than 30 specialisations. It is a two-year programme spread over four semesters, admission to which is based on a candidate’s performance in JMI Entrance Exam. The final merit list for admission to MA at JMI is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance test, seat reservation and relaxation criteria of JMI. Jamia Milia Islamia offers admission to various PG courses, including MA through CUET PG scores. Candidates seeking admission to the PG courses must have valid CUET PG scores in order to be eligible for further rounds. As per the JMI CUET PG cutoff 2024, the Round 1 cutoff scores  ranged between 23.25 and 64.75 for MSc courses. Among all the MSc courses, MSc in Mathematics is the most competitive course for the General AI category students.

In addition to the above 10 MA specialisations, the university also offers MA across 25 specialisations, namely, Arabic, Persian, Sanskrit, HRM, and Geography, among others.

Qualified students of CUET UG are required to register for JMI counselling after which merit lists will be released with the name of the shortlisted students. For the remaining courses, however, the university is still accepting national and university-level entrance exam for final selection. 

Jamia Millia Islamia offers admission to a total of four BSc/ BSc (Hons) courses via CUET UG. As per the CUET UG website, students seeking admission to BSc at Jamia Millia must appear for and qualify CUET exam. However, since some universities are also considering other components while giving admission to CUET-UG based courses, it could be a possibility of getting into JMI without CUET.

Jamia Millia Islamia (also known as JMI) is a central university located in Delhi. Jamia Millia Islamia offers seat reservations in almost all the courses based on the category of the students. Candidates seeking JMI admission under the reserved category can apply for reservation under one category only and are required to fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions of the course. • 30% of the total number of seats in each course are reserved for Muslim applicants. 10% of the total number of seats in each course are reserved for women applicants
  who are Muslims and 10% of the total number of seats in each course shall be earmarked for (OBCs) and ST students who are Muslims.
• 5% of seats in all the courses are reserved for physically challenged students.
• 5% of seats in all courses must be filled by internal students of Jamia who have passed their qualifying exam from Jamia schools as regular students.
