For admission 2022, Jamia Milia Islamia was accepting applications for CUET-UG counselling for undergraduate courses till Sep 26. The registration window closed as per the set schedule followed by the release of seat allotment results/merit list for different courses. As per the official 2023 brochure of Jamia Millia Islamia, the university considers the scores of Jamia Entrance Test for admission to MBA. Interested students seeking admission are required to have completed their undergraduate degree from a recognsied university with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent grade. However, students who have a valid CAT score can reach out to the admisison office to confirm if such special cases can be treated individually for admission to the MBA programme. 

The total tuition fee for MBA at Jamia Millia Islamia ranges between INR 38,500 - INR 3 lakh. The range indicates that the fee across all MBA specialisations is different. Selected candidates were required to appear for the interview and counselling rounds. Aspiring students are required to register on the official website of JMI and fill the application form online. In the form, fill all the details asked, upload the required documents and pay the application fee. Starting 2022, for BA, BSc and BVoc, JMI started accepting the scores of CUET UG. For the same, students need to register for the exam, appear for it and qualify it. Qualified students of CUET UG are required to register for JMI counselling after which merit lists will be released with the name of the shortlisted students. For the remaining courses, however, the university is still accepting national and university-level entrance exam for final selection.

Yes, JMI offers both BSc and BSc (Hons) programmes across four and five specialisations, respectively. The admission process for both these programmes is conducted through JMI entrance test and the final selection of candidates is based on their performance in previous qualifying degree exams, performance in the entrance test and seat availability. But before everything else, students must meet the minimum eligibility requirements set by the university which is passing Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate with a relevant combination of subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/ or Biology, among others. 

Jamia Millia Islamia offers a two-year MA programme to the stduents across more than 30 specialisations. It is a two-year programme spread over four semesters, admission to which is based on a candidate’s performance in JMI Entrance Exam. The final merit list for admission to MA at JMI is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance test, seat reservation and relaxation criteria of JMI.
