Both colleges do not have a formal placement cell or a record of campus placements. However, both colleges provide opportunities for the students to gain practical knowledge and exposure to various aspects of agriculture and horticulture through training sessions, workshops, seminars, research projects, and internships. The graduates and postgraduates of both colleges can find employment in various sectors such as agriculture, food processing, biotechnology, floriculture, landscaping, nursery management, and teaching. Some of the companies and industries that have hired the alumni of both colleges are Agrosaw, Myron L company, White Wagon Pvt Ltd, Central Biotech Pvt Ltd, Prospex Technologies, National Fertilizers Ltd, etc.Therefore, it is difficult to say which college offers better placements than the other, as it may depend on the individual skills, interests, and preferences of the students. Both B.Sc at University of Horticulture Science, Bagalkot (UHS) and College of Agriculture, Hassan (COA) are reputed institutions that offer quality education and facilities in the field of agriculture and horticulture. However, there are some differences between them that you may want to consider before making a decision.Course structure: B.Sc at UHS is a four-year degree programme that focuses on the Science and technology of horticulture, which is the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, flowers, ornamental plants, spices, and medicinal plants.
