Additionally, the institute offers a confined number of seats among MBA specialisation, Hence, candidates with strong preparation and high ranks can get admission into postgraduate management courses at JNTUK Kakinada. However, if candidates are consistent in their studies and solve mock tests, completing the APICET syllabus on time can get admission to an MBA course at a university or any institution easily.

The admission process for the MBA course at JNTUK Kakinada and Sri Venkateswara University is almost the same. Both of the university also offers MBA courses through its affiliated colleges. To get admission into any of the universities candidates are required to complete their bachelor's degree first with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Moreover, for the selection process, SVU and affiliated colleges accept the scores of APICET and TSICET. On the other hand, JNTUK Kakinada is affiliated with more than 100 colleges. So, the university does accept the scores of APICET, TSICET, and other national and state-level entrance examination scores, such as XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, etc.

Additionally, candidates must have secured a valid score in any of the following- TSICET/ MAT/ XAT, etc., scores + counselling for JNTUK and its affiliated colleges.
