But yours is 460 rank so there might be a better chance of getting a seat in those colleges. All the best and don't miss out on counselling, because you may get lucky.

Hello Pavan,
Yes, a student can have any issues like health or financial etc., which can cause him to have a break in studies. Just approach your college admin staff and you can start off from where you left.

No, with this rank, you shouldn't expect JNTU. For petroleum, your rank should be less than 10k.

If you can work for one more year with full dedication and motivation from people around you, then I would suggest take a drop and give your 100%. In the end, luck matters a lot. All the best!

Hi,
I would just consider previous year scores:
With 205 marks in JEE Mains Paper – 2.
And 96% in boards.
The normalised score came out to be 225.96.
Which gave a rank of 2625.
Getting a score of274in JEE Mains Paper-2.

And a rank of117.
The last year cut off rank in SPA Delhi is somewhere around 930, to get that rank a normalised score of 250 would have been enough.
As from this year boards marks won't be considered, this would lead to increment in raw JEE marks.
So I think 270 would be a good score to get into one of the most reputed institutions of architecture and believe me, if you could manage mathematics portion, you would easily get to this score.
