The probability of getting admission or not, totally depends on the cutoff. As your score is 81, you have a good chance of getting admission. The previous year JNU cutoff for general category was 75 for MCA. So as you have better score than the previous year cutoff, the chances are good. But no accurate prediction can be done because the cutoff may vary every year. So you are adviced to wait for the cutoff to be released.

The general test becomes a requirement for CUET UG, depending on programme and university specifications. For instance, whether a general test is part of the admission procedure at colleges like BHU, JNU, or DU, it can vary upon certain courses that may count on the general test while others find mainly domain-specific subjects. Also, it is said that BHU usually has a general test tied up with domain-specific papers to bring in students for undergraduate admission. In JNU, a general test is needed for applying multidisciplinary programmes, whereas DU gives CUET benefit according to course applied for. If your programmes are related to Bachelor's degree courses BA and B.Com or other interdisciplinary fields then this becomes necessary.
