Admission to JNU BA Hons courses is based on merit in CUET-UG, conducted by NTA. Selected candidates also have to participate in the counselling for seat allotment.Candidates seeking admission to B.A. (Hons.) in JNU have to appear for CUET (UG). They are required to opt for Section IA – English Test and Section III – General Test for admission in JNU.The counselling procedure is carried out by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) (later stages). Further details below. For foreign nationals, admission happens through Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA). For details refer to the section on DASA given below.For admission to JNU the candidates must apply SEPARATELY after the declaration of CUET (PG) – 2024 result. reputation as a centre of advanced learning.
